The greatest year of change to our performance schedule marches inexorably on. We have added weekly shows at Reston Town Center’s spectacular outdoor pavilion in Northern Virginia through the spring and summer and at the many beloved DC area Tree Top Kids stores. Monthly shows kicked off in 2007 include White Flint Mall in Bethesda, MD; Virginia’s Dulles Town Center; McLean’s gorgeous Wren & Divine children’s boutique; and the historic Arlington Cinema & Drafthouse.
Of course we are still at Tysons Corner Center in McLean every Friday and continue to host the Silver Diner’s Family Night, on Tuesday evenings right across the street. Thursday mornings at Jammin’ Java can never die!
We continue to do a lot of festivals this year, including Pet Fiesta, Taste of the Town, and Autumn Adventure at the Reston Town Center; the Loudon County Fair; Viva Vienna!; Family Fest at White Flint Mall; Harvest Happenings at the McLean Community Center; and Family Fest and the Liberty and Halloween Festivals at the Dulles Town Center.
We have had wonderful opportunities over the past year to perform at exceptionally special events—for all our glorious children at Children’s Hospital downtown, for example, or at the Susan G. Komen National Race for the Cure on the National Mall.
Thanks so much to all of you who’ve come to our shows this year. As I perform at more and more new venues, it provides needed comfort to look out and see familiar friends. Thanks for being those familiar faces for me. It’s been a great year!
